• December brings lights, laughter, and meaningful traditions shared with the people we love. While we wrap gifts and look back on the year, it’s also a natural time to think about how we protect our families beyond the holidays. "I became a State Farm Insurance agent in 1995, after spending five years helping our customers with claims. I’m proud to have spent the last 28 years assisting our community! Our agency in Lee’s Summit is staffed with a team of skilled insurance professionals who are ready to assist you.

I grew up in Perryville, MO and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University. My wife Cindy and I have two awesome kids who were both recently married! We’ve called Lake Winnebago home for the past eight years. Prior to that, we lived in Lee’s Summit for 28 years. When I’m not working, I love spending time with friends and staying active outdoors. Whether it’s playing pickleball, golfing, fishing, boating, or hanging out with the dogs, I can’t get enough time outside!

When I first started in the insurance industry, I quickly learned that many people just aim for the cheapest policies, not ones that will actually protect what is truly important to them. My team and I strive to help customers understand how their insurance covers them, so they can be prepared if the unexpected ever happens.

Our agency always adheres to a quote I came up with years ago: “listening is not waiting to talk.” We value our customers and want to find out about them. We believe that having a good conversation and truly learning about our customers is a necessary way to assist them, both economically and to ensure they are properly protecting their assets.

It has been a pleasure to work with so many great customers over the years. It’s a special joy to have customers’ children become customers of mine on their own, as they start and grow their own families!

In addition to my many years of experience, I have added professional designations to gain additional knowledge: ChFC, CLU, RICP, LUTCF, . We have been recognized as a State Farm Presidents Club agency - ranking as a to 50 agency for the year out of 19,000 agencies nationwide!

I am passionate about staying active in the community. I’ve served on and led many committees for the Lee’s Summit School District and am involved with Taking it to the Streets, an organization that provides aid to the homeless population as well as support for first responders.
